Giants camp 2008.
Information about the camp.
This is my church's youth camp, takes place when there is no church camp in the year.
It could be combined with GB and BB like this year's or on a smaller scale, ymm youths only, like '06 soul survivors camp.
Fot this year, Giants camp '08, 21st-24th Nov lasted for 4days3nights(standard duration for camps) at moe adventure centre off Lim Chu Kang.
Similar to '06's camp, I learned more about God and shared laughters and tears with my friends.
Day one.
Did my final packing and was out in mommy's car to northpoint at 2plus.
Went to walk around and the new Northpoint is very nice! At least not as boring as the old one ._.
Met the others at 4, laughters begins. {:
Off to campsite and reached at 5plus? Got to know my teammates &I was in the same team as Kristine, Elieen and SamuelY.
Went to huts to put belongings. Yes Hut 3! The huts are beautiful but aint nice to sleep in.
Since when did sleeping on wooden planks comfortable?
6plus, had dinner. One must use his/her own cultery for meals o.o!
Afterwhich, had a session with Pastor Mark about conquering one's giants.
Night games was fun but scary. Okay, I'm a timid 小妹妹, yes I know.
I defeated the Giant of darkness, danger and disunity! I WALKED IN THE FOREST AT NIGHT ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Giant of darkness was like Jss's nightwalks! But replace the shoulder with ropes, minus the water/flour/lipstick/toothpaste.
Debriefed, supper (Waiwan, I love hotdog bread! :D), washed up, chatted and off to bed with lizards and bugs at 2/3am. What a night!
Day two.
Woke up at 8 and the whole hut urged me not to slack in my sleeping bag. Oh.
Breakfast was cupcake with carrot cake, and we envied the kids from the other camp next to us who had nasi lemak for breakfast!
Afterwhich, it was Jie E-von(I think)'s session and small groups session which got me thinking.
How do I identify my Giants and what are the concrete steps to conquer them?
Low elements next, under the hot sun with quite easy stations. Wells, except for spiderweb.
Lunched, then magic carpet and human entanglement. Was in sleep mode, forgive me groupmates!
Had free time, mainly chatted with various peeps to keep the stinky me(:x) awake! &Waiwan and I shared a hotdog bread leftover from supper. :DD
Dinnered, followed by a session with Pastor James. Think, thinking and thought.
Night games: Kidnapped.! Oh goodness I was sooooo freaked out. I feel cheated, thanks to sexy frog -.-
When announcing the game to us, his tone was so serious, we(wells, at least Waiwan and me) foolishily believed 100% of it. Tsk.
Some were fake but I'd learnt sth: Teamwork is veryyyyyyy important! Was soooo scared till I think I'd gone bonkers O:

Had group debrief, supper, washed up, chatted and sleptat 1plus
Day three.
Woke up at 6plus thanks to the cats and roosters who kept making noises in the chillness of the morning.
Had breakfast, then comes the causaulty challenge as groups went outside the campsite, looking for materials for a performance.
Causaulties include fainted, blinded, muted, deaf, paralysis, injured etc. I dint carry anyone :x, but I carried the trunk and branches okay! :B
On the trip back, I was blinded! Quite shiok lehh, holding to Waiwan's hand and then Elieen's hand after Waiwan "fainted". Lmao.
Back to campsite, combined with group6 for the performance to Bubu, the instructor incharge of our groups. It was very funny, to the extent that I laughed till I had stomachache! Goliahshita(inside joke)!
Planned and discussed for campfire night performance, lunched.
Break from 2-6. Rested, chatted, changed into camp tee, and it rained heavily! Cooling okay.
Crystal, Waiwan and me was 斗嘴-ing with SamuelC. Dang funny pls! :D
Chatted lots, to dining hall for biscuits (:D) with peeps and slacked. Cooling effect! (:

Dinnered, then had a session with Simon. As what he said, the last night in camps will always be the memorable one!
Worship was fab pls!
Thank God for such a nice night and a nice worship team as me and my friends worshipped Him.
We'd linked arms and worship God together.! The guys infront of us formed a line too, and blocked us who were behind them! But lyrics doesn't matter; its all about enjoying His presence. :D
Then comes the session about admitting sins.
I wrote down the biggest sin I had commited that I cant even forgive myself, wrote "forgiven" infront and pasted it up on the board.
Yes I did shed tears as I prayed, but I know that from the moment I asked for forgiveness, I have been forgive. Thanks Kristin for praying for me.! (:
Hugged a no. of people and comforted them like Wenhui! She hugged me like a kola bear but nevermind, she's forgiven too. Hahahah. :D
After a while, off for campfire, holding the paper with our sins in our hands, ready to put it into the fire for burning. My sins are forgiven! ^^
Campfire was fun. Laughed lots at everything. I think I got my sorethroat due to laughing and shouting too much!
The place was quite wet, our group's performance went smoothly(with me and Waiwun laughing like there's no tml) and I'd enjoyed myself!

Back to multi-purpose hall for phototaking of groups and everyone.
Off for area cleaning, toilets! Quite grossed out, and Waiwan wasnt feeling well.
Bathed, supper, chatted with her and Kagee, brushed teeth, chatted MORE, SmauelC came to write sth(?), dragged Causaulty(Waiwan suspected she had intestine flu!) up to hut and slept at 2plus.
Day four.
Woke up at 7(yes the rosters again!), washed up, packed up and place bags at multi-purpose hall.
Nasi Lemak for breakfast! :DD
Area cleaning, cleaned a large area ._.
To camp Christine for sme penwork, thinking of what has happened, wat God teached us during the camp.
